| [Emanuel] Julius: A London Jew called Julius is listed on 19th Dec. 36. There are records of a volunteer called Emanuel Julius. He originally volunteered as part of a militia medical unit. Became a Quartermaster and later worked at Granen hospital. Joined the militia unit proper on 20 September 1936 where he became an officer. The paper reports that he died 8th October 1936, other records suggest the 18th. |
